Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information Waterguard receives through this website, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Scope

This policy applies to personal information collected by Waterguard LLC ("Waterguard," "we," or "us") through this website and its request forms. It does not replace a separate notice or agreement that may apply to a particular customer, distributor, employee, or business relationship.

Information we collect

You may provide contact details such as your name, email address, telephone number, company, role, and mailing or shipping information. Depending on the request, you may also provide product selections, project details, specifications, drawings, photographs, messages, quantities, schedules, and files.

Our hosting and security providers may receive technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser or device information, and the requested URL. When you submit a form, we also receive the page on which you submitted it.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • respond to questions and route requests to the appropriate team;
  • provide quotes, samples, product information, technical review, and project support;
  • process shipping or fulfillment requests and coordinate with distributors when needed;
  • maintain request records in the systems used to manage customer and project communications;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and forms; and
  • comply with law and protect Waterguard, its customers, and others.

How we share information

We may share information with service providers that support website hosting, forms, file storage, email, customer relationship management, security, and other business operations. We may also share the information needed to complete your request with a distributor, fulfillment provider, or other project participant.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business. Service providers and request partners receive information only for the relevant business purpose.

Project files and sensitive information

Please upload only files you are authorized to share. Do not submit payment-card details, government identifiers, health information, controlled information, or information about others that is unnecessary for your request. Share confidential project information only when you are authorized to do so.

Cookies and website tracking

With your permission, Waterguard uses RB2B website visitor identification technology. RB2B may use cookies and other identifiers to associate website visits and browsing activity, including interest in product and technical resources, with businesses and some business professionals. We may use those matches for relevant business-to-business outreach. We do not enable RB2B unless you affirmatively allow tracking. Declining does not restrict forms or downloads.

With your permission, we also use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits to public pages and the types of requests successfully submitted. Google receives analytics cookie identifiers, public page information and technical browser information. We do not send form entries, names, email addresses, telephone numbers, uploaded files, or URL query strings to Google Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled. Prior permission for RB2B alone does not enable Google Analytics; the updated tracking choice must be accepted. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

After you allow tracking, we also keep a random identifier for this browser tab and record product-page visits, document previews, download clicks, and resource requests in Waterguard’s private activity log. We do not put form entries or URL query strings in this log. These events do not prove a file was saved or read and are not automatically linked to an identified RB2B person. Declining clears the tab identifier and stops subsequent optional activity recording. Essential browser storage may support site operation, security, and forms; hosting providers may process technical requests and security logs. Optional Google Analytics and RB2B tracking remain disabled when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. You can withdraw permission by selecting Privacy Settings in the site footer and choosing Decline. Withdrawal disables subsequent Google Analytics and RB2B loading and attempts to clear their first-party cookies; data already collected may remain with these providers subject to their retention and opt-out policies. You may also contact us about privacy requests.

Payments and marketing

This website does not accept payments or request payment-card information. Submitting a quote, sample or support request does not sign you up for a marketing newsletter. We do not run advertising pixels for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our optional RB2B identity-matching service may constitute sharing or selling personal information under some privacy laws; where applicable, we honor opt-out rights and browser privacy signals. Contact us through the privacy request channels below.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, support projects and customer relationships, maintain business and technical records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the site. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.

Security

Waterguard uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you have provided, subject to applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping needs. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to a copy of your information, to opt out of certain processing, or to appeal a request decision. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority before acting. Use the contact form or call (800) 653-8785 to make a request.

Privacy requests

When contacting us, identify your request as a privacy request and describe the information or choice involved. Please do not send identification documents or other sensitive information unless we arrange a secure and necessary verification step. We will assess requests under the law that applies to your circumstances, explain any refusal or permitted exception, and provide an appeal route when required.

Children

This business-to-business site is not directed to children under 13, and Waterguard does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the site and our practices change. Questions or privacy requests can be submitted through the Waterguard contact page, by calling (800) 653-8785, or by writing to Waterguard LLC, Attn: Privacy, 3233 Founders Drive, Suite 200, Bryan, TX 77807.
